Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS): A national system of information on postsecondary educational institutions that is used to populate various data access tools such as College Navigator.
College Navigator: A consumer information and college search tool that provides commonly requested IPEDS data in an easily accessible site to the public. It provides recent IPEDS data (i.e. tuition, financial aid, enrollment, student demographics, admissions, retention rate, graduation rate, lists of programs/majors offered, service members, varsity athletic teams, accreditations, campus security, and loan default rates) and can be used for benchmarking.
College Scorecard: A consumer information and college search tool that provides commonly requested IPEDS data and compares college affordability and value.
Carnegie Classification: In partnership with the American Council on Education, the Carnegie Foundation works to categorize institutions of higher education based on size, type, setting, degrees and programs offered, access, alumni earnings, and other elective categories.
Athletics Graduation Rates: The NCAA provides Graduation Success Rates for UP student athletes overall by race/ethnicity and gender and broken down for each UP sport to comply with the Student Right To Know Act.
Equity in Athletics: Compares athletic program information in terms of revenues and expenses.
Loan Default Rate: Calculated by the U.S. Department of Education based on the number of federal student loan borrowers who default on their loan payments out of all federal student loan borrowers entering repayment from the school within the cohort fiscal year.
