Appealing Charges
If you believe the library made an error that resulted in a charge to your account or if you have a unique situation that prevented you from returning materials before their due date, you may fill out an appeal form. Access Services or Digital Lab staff will review the appeal and let you know if the fine/fee has been waived, reduced, or upheld. Appeals must be made within 60 calendar days of the charge. You will receive an email response to your appeal with the final decision within two weeks of submitting the appeal. The decision made by Access services staff may be appealed to the library management team within two weeks of initial decision. Decisions made by the management team will be final.
