What are you most excited about for your Next Port?
I'm most excited to see where my journey takes me! I'm hoping to continue my education by taking the MCAT and applying to medical school after completing my ClinEd program.
What advice would you give to your first-year self?
It's all worth it in the end! All those tears, sleepless nights, stress, homework assignments, etc. paid off. Continue working hard, you'll be very proud of yourself.
Was there a class, internship or experience that shaped your direction to your post-graduate plans?
My experience volunteering at OHSU Casey Eye Institute made me want to continue working with patients from underserved communities.
Who at the University of Portland had the most impact on shaping your next step?
Dr. Favero. He is wonderful and truly the best advisor ever. He always pushed me to just go for it and take advantage of all the opportunities that come my way, like studying abroad in Spain. :)
