Fr. Timothy Weed, CSC, came to the University of Portland in 2017 to serve in Campus Ministry as the campus minister for liturgy.  Prior to his time at UP, Fr. Tim served at the University of Notre Dame, where, while completing his theology studies in the master of divinity program, he worked as the assistant rector of Sorin College, one of the university's male dorms. Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Fr. Tim earned a bachelor of science in history and geography in 2007 from Aquinas College. He entered the seminary with the Congregation of Holy Cross at Notre Dame in 2011.  

Fr. Tim lives in Shipstad Hall, and has his office in the upper level of the Chapel of Christ the Teacher. An avid sports fan, Fr. Tim closely follows the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers, along with Notre Dame football. He enjoys reading and watching movies as well. Fr. Tim made his perpetual profession of vows in Holy Cross in 2017 and was ordained a priest in April 2018.
