Academic Advising: Curriculum Information and Requirements
The University of Portland consists of four professional schools and a College of Arts and Sciences with 14 departments. For students who know the program of study they wish to follow, this section will provide a roadmap of the courses they need to take in order to graduate. For students uncertain about their major or wishing to add a second major or a minor, these pages will provide resources for learning about major programs.
In order to graduate in one of our bachelor's degree programs, every student must successfully complete at least 120 semester credit hours (more for some programs), fulfill the University’s core requirements, fulfill the specific requirements of their college or school, and fulfill the requirements of their major.
The authoritative source for information about academic requirements for all programs as well as academic rules and policies is the University Bulletin.
