Army ROTC: Financial Aid

Participation in the ROTC program makes you eligible numerous special scholarships and financial aid packages. Follow the links below to learn more about the specifics of these financial aid incentives:

Army ROTC Scholarship Program

This program will cover tuition and fees, a textbook allowance, and a monthly stipend during the academic year. The Army ROTC Scholarship provides full tuition and fees. Army ROTC students scholarships will also receive a room and board scholarship (capped at the double room rate) during all years the student is receiving the scholarship and is living on campus. Scholarships are available in all academic disciplines to qualified students based on ability, not need. Special scholarships are available to pre-nursing and nursing students.

Scholarship winners also receive $900 annually for books, supplies, and equipment, as well as up to $5,000 in spending money (tax-free). Recipients receive free room and board for all four years of their scholarship. Three-year advance designees also receive four years’ free room and board. High school seniors are awarded four-year scholarships, and freshmen and sophomores at the University who are interested in Army ROTC may apply for two- and three-year on-campus scholarships. The on-campus scholarship application process is conducted at the beginning of spring semester. Students who apply for these scholarships may do so even if they are not currently involved in the program
