Fish Core Team | University of Portland

Fish Core Team

Grow your strengths. Grow your leadership. Grow in Christ.

The Fish Core Team is a group of 5-6 dedicated student leaders who work together, and with the entire Fish community, to articulate the vision of Fish, coordinate weekly Fish nights and special events, and use their gifts to enrich the community.

Please visit this link for a more detailed description of the leadership position and time commitment. Thank you for your interest!

Core Team Members:

  • Core Team Members

Meet weekly to discuss the needs of the Fish community

  • Meet individually with the Fish advisor to discuss personal leadership development

  • Attend to their own spiritual formation throughout the year

  • Assume different responsibilities according to their personal strengths and passions as well as the needs of the community

  • Collaborate with their fellow Campus Ministry leaders, the Faith & Formation Ambassadors and Servant Leadership Team, to respond to the needs of the UP community

Core Team is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with a team, contribute to the impact of Fish on campus, and cultivate servant leadership. Applications for Fish Core Team are available in the spring semester, although you are welcome to reach out with questions at any point in the year.

If you do have questions or would like to connect with a current member of the Fish Core Team, please contact Fr. Tim Weed (weed@up.edu) or by phone at 503.943.8919.
