Welcome to Campus Ministry!

Campus Ministry at the University of Portland provides opportunities for all members of the community to grow in awareness of God’s presence and God’s invitation to communion. For Christians this includes growing in the capacity to know, believe and live out the Good News of Jesus Christ. This flows from our grounding in the Catholic tradition inspired by the charism and spirituality of the Congregation of Holy Cross.

Campus Ministry Highlights

Commencement Weekend Schedule

The University will celebrate it's commencement activities the weekend of May 3-5. The liturgy schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Friday, May 3rd
- Sacrament of Reconciliation at 11:30 AM
- Daily Mass at 12:05 PM
Saturday, May 4th
- Baccalaureate Mass at 4:30 PM (Chiles Center)
Sunday, May 5th
- No Sunday Masses on campus due to commencement activities.

Summer Liturgy Schedule

Beginning Monday, May 6 and running through Friday, August 23, the Chapel of Christ the Teacher will observe the following liturgy schedule:

Sunday Masses: 10:30 AM
Daily Masses: Monday-Friday at 12:05 PM
Sacrament of Reconciliation: By appointment through Campus Ministry office (ministry@up.edu).

YouTube Sunday Homilies

Campus Ministry invites you to join in viewing Sunday homilies from the Chapel of Christ the Teacher. Check out our YouTube channel to see our uploaded homilies. We will be uploading homilies a couple times a month, so check back frequently to see how our Holy Cross priests edify our community with prayerful and thoughtful insights into the Good News of Jesus Christ.
