Events: Welcome

The events office promotes and enhances the University’s mission of teaching, faith and service as it plans, manages, implements and oversees a variety of events for internal and external audiences. Events include Commencement Weekend, Alumni Reunion, Junior Parents Weekend, Freshman Orientation, Founders Day, various building dedications, concerts, lectures, dignitary visits, pre-game events, literacy and job fairs, engineering design competitions, jazz and choir festivals, receptions, and numerous conferences.

The events office is the central location for reserving rooms and resources for non-academic class events. Campus locations may be reserved for use on a first come first served basis if they are not being used for academic classes.

Faculty/Staff 
University of Portland faculty and staff must use to check on location availability and to request a room location or media resource. Please click on the  link for instructions on how to request a reservation.

Off Campus Guests

Film/Photo Crews

Catering
The University’s catering contract is with Bon Appetit Management Company. All catering must be provided by Bon Appetit. They may be contacted at (503) 943-7330. A catering manager will work with you to create a menu that is appropriate for your event. Please be aware that you must have a location reservation to place a catering order.
