Health Center: Peer Health Educators
Peer Health Educator (PHE) Mission
Peer Health Educators foster wellness of mind, heart, spirit, and body within the University of Portland community; we advance the Holy Cross mission of holistic education and embody the University’s mission of teaching & learning, faith & formation, and service & leadership.
Purpose and Goals
PHEs are a team of dedicated student leaders who live together in Tyson Hall, sharing a passion for health and wellness. Together, we facilitate wellness among the University community by providing education from a holistic health perspective. We educate on a variety of topics including nutrition, healthy relationships, sexual assault, substance abuse and stress relief. We support our peers in cultivating a healthy, balanced college lifestyle.
When it comes to your health. . . we got your back!
