Health Center: GLBTQ Confidential Group: FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the group do?
We meet regularly throughout the semester to talk, share personal experiences, and discuss any questions that are of general interest to members of the group. Everyone is encouraged to share according to their own comfort level.
Why is the group confidential?
We are confidential in order to provide a safe place of welcome and support for all GLBTQ students, so that all might be able to participate regardless of their personal level of openness regarding their sexuality.
Is this a Gay/Straight
No, however we are proud supporters of the Gay Straight Partnership (GSP), a university club that sponsors educational and social activities on campus (see resources).
How do I join?
To join us, please send an e-mail of inquiry to outornotUP@gmail.com, with basic information and the best way for us to contact you. One of the Faculty/Staff Coordinators will respond, inviting you to schedule an informational meeting. Or, feel free to contact one of our faculty/staff coordinators directly.
