01:02 Officers responded to a noise complaint about people out in the street at the 6900 block of N. Van Houten. Officers made contact with a residence and advised them to bring everyone inside; they were compliant.

15:25 Officers took a statement from a student reporting they were being harassed by another student. Officers also spoke with the accused student and their reports have been forwarded to the Student Conduct Coordinator.

19:22 Officers performed a search of a student's room and found items in violation of the weapons policy and drug paraphernalia. The matter has been referred to the Student Conduct Coordinator.

22:45 Received a call from a neighbor regarding a loud gathering outside their house on the 6900 block of N. Hodge. Officers contact the group, comprised of students, and they agreed to quiet down and disperse.

23:11 Received a complaint regarding a loud party in the 5200 block of N. Yale. Officers contacted the renters and issued noise ordinance violations. Because of the chronic nature of the issue, the students were referred to the student conduct coordinator.

00:40 Public Safety officers contacted a student at the intersection of N. Willamette Blvd and N. Portsmouth Ave. The student was cited for violation of the University's alcohol policy and was referred to the judicial coordinator.

02:19 Portland Police informed Public Safety they were responded to a noise complaint at the 5000 block of N. Willamette Blvd. Public Safety officers also responded and the small party was cleared out.

00:11 Received a complaint from neighbor regarding loud party in the 7300 block of N. Portsmouth. Officer spoke with the renter and the party was cleared out.

02:18 Received a report from a neighbor of four individuals creating a nuisance in the street at the intersection of N. Amherst and N. Menlo. Officers responded but were unable to locate anyone near the intersection.

00:43 Received notification from Residence Life Hall Staff that there was suspected under-aged drinking in a Tyson Hall apartment. Officer were asked to assist and confirm ages of students. Officers determined that three individuals were not of legal age, and referred the matter to Residence Life for resolution.

03:07 Portland 911 Dispatch notified Public Safety that they were responding to an overdose in Fields/Schoenfeldt Hall. Officers responded and found that Portland Emergency Responders were transporting a non-student to medical facilities for treatment of possible alcohol poisoning. Individual was a guest of a student, and not of legal drinking age. The matter is being referred to the Student Conduct Coordinator.

16:24 Officers made contact with a group of individuals playing on the Prusynski Pitch without authorization. The individuals were not affiliated with the University and asked to leave; they were non-compliant. Portland Police also responded to assist in clearing the field; one individual was trespassed from campus.

Friday 3/8/13

01:23 Received a call from a neighbor reporting students tipping over trashcans and violating the noise ordinance in the 7300 block of N. Stanford. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate students or tipped-over trashcans.

23:13 Received a complaint from a neighbor regarding a loud party in the 4600 block of N. Willamette Blvd. Officers were unable to locate any loud activity in the area.

Thursday 3/7/13

16:13 Faculty reported a suspicious person near Franz Hall. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the individual initially. After a brief search, officers found the individual off campus and observed the individual to ensure that they did not return.

02:08 Officers observed intoxicated students entering Fields/Schoenfeldt Hall. Officers did not contact students, but matter was referred to Residence Life staff for follow-up.

00:11 Officers assisted an intoxicated student return to their dorm from the corner of N. Princeton St. and N. Haven Ave. Residence Life staff met the student upon their return.

23:17 Caller reported an intoxicated student in need of assistance at the corner of N. Syracuse St. and N. Haven Ave. Officers responded determined a medical evaluation was required. Emergency Medical Services evaluated the student and determined no treatment was required. Student was transported to appropriate facilities.

23:59 Received a complaint regarding a loud party at the corner of N. Syracuse St. and N. Haven Ave. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate a significant noise disturbance.

Friday 2/15/13

1:20 Officers assisted a non-UP individual displaying signs of severe intoxication on the 4800 block of N. Harvard St. Portland Police Bureau was contacted and they transported the individual to the proper facilities.

17:12 Residence Hall staff reported drug paraphernalia discovered behind Villa Maria Hall. Officers responded and removed the items.

23:12 Officers responded to a complaint regarding a loud party on the 7000 block of N. Wall. Officers assisted renters in reducing the size of the party and bringing the noise down to reasonable levels.

23:38 Officers assisted an intoxicated student returning to their dorm from the intersection of N. Hodge Ave and N. Syracuse St. The student was returned to their dorm and met by Residence Life staff.

23:49 Officers responded to multiple complaints regarding a loud party on the 5000 block of N. Haven Ave. Officers spoke with the renter and they ended their party.

10:23 Bon Appetit staff reported a grease fire at the Cove. Officers responded, but Bon Appetit staff had already put out the fire prior to the officers' arrival. Environmental Health and Safety is reviewing the incident.

15:16 Officers served a trespass warning notice to an individual who was engaging in suspicious behavior near the Pilot House. The individual was compliant and left campus.

00:40 Officers responded to a noise complaint about individuals on the street at the 5200 block of N. Yale. Officers were unable to locate any disturbance.

03:52 A staff member reported a suspicious vehicle behind Christie. Officers made contact with the individuals who were intoxicated and not affiliated with the University. Portland Police also responded and called a taxi for the individuals.

15:33 Officers and Residence Life performed a room search at Villa Maria and confiscated prohibited paraphernalia and alcohol.

00:05 Received a party complaint about a residence at the 7100 block of N. Van Houten Ave. Officers made contact with the residents and they were already shutting down the party.

02:32 Officers made contact with the driver of a suspicious vehicle by Kenna Hall. The driver was not affiliated with the University and appeared intoxicated. Portland Police responded and took the individual to detox.

22:24 Officers responded to a noise complaint of individuals yelling and knocking over trashcans at the 4800 block of N. Amherst. Officers were unable to locate any individuals in the area.

00:19 Officers made contact with three students on N. Portsmouth Ave. One citation was issued for Minor in Possession and two citations were issued for supplying fake identification. The alcohol and fake IDs were confiscated.

00:28 Officers made contact with an intoxicated student at an off-campus event. A citation was issued for Minor in Possession and the student was sent back to campus on the bus.

02:20 Officers contacted three residents in Shipstad Hall to perform a room search. Marijuana and prohibited paraphernalia were confiscated.

21:50 A staff member reported an altercation between residents at Corrado Hall. Public Safety and Portland Police responded and one student was arrested for menacing.

Saturday 1/26/13

02:12 A staff member reported the odor of marijuana coming from a room in Shipstad. Officers and Residence Life contacted the residents and a room search was performed. Officers confiscated marijuana and prohibited paraphernalia.

23:37 Officers noticed a vehicle with a broken window by Shipstad Hall. The owner was contacted and reported their GPS had been removed from the vehicle. A report was taken and student was advised to report the theft to Portland Police.

22:46 Public Safety responded to a complaint of a party at the 5500 block of N. Willamette. Upon arrival the party was already ending; officers assisted in clearing people out of the area.
