About

The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement is to help students develop as scholars and engaged intellectuals.

The Office of Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement achieves this mission by connecting students with and facilitating enriched academic experiences. The Office of Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement:

  • Collaborates with with other campus groups to prepare students for off-campus opportunities, particularly research experiences for undergraduates (REUs) and fellowship or grant opportunities,
  • Coordinates the Honors Program and on-campus student research presentations, and
  • Connects students with enriched academic experiences through individual advising based on their future goals.
