Hours worked and paid time off are communicated to the payroll department through a module in the Banner Self-Serve System called Web
Time Entry. For more information, please visit the Web Time Entry page.
Unpaid Holiday for Veterans Day: Per Oregon law, qualifying veterans are entitled to an
unpaid holiday for Veterans Day, if requested. Qualifying veterans are
those who served on active duty in the Armed Forces for at least 6
months or in a combat zone, and received
a discharge under honorable conditions. Veterans must submit the
request to management at least 21 days in advance, and a response will
be provided no later than 14 days prior to the holiday. If a request is
unable to be approved, an alternate day off will
be provided. Documentation supporting eligibility may be required.
Vacation hours may be used to cover the unpaid time off.
