Registration
Before registering for classes it is advised that you speak with your academic advisor. Your academic advisor is assigned to you through your major department. Your advisor will help you determine the courses that you need to take. If you are undecided about a major your advisor will be in the Shepard Freshman Resource Center. Contact the Shepard Freshman Resource Center to schedule an appointment. Once you have met with your advisor he or she will send you to the Registrar’s office in Waldschmidt 100. The staff at the Registrar’s office will register you for classes.
After your first semester you can register for classes online. Detailed instructions on how to register online are explained on the web registration worksheet.

Academic Resources
The Shepard Freshman Resource Center (SFRC) can assist first-year students with academics, personal counseling, and guide students to various campus resources. Along with the SFRC, there is an Integrated Writing and Math Center. Both centers are located in Franz 120. The Writing Center assists students from all disciplines and academic levels with their papers. The Math Center is for students who have math related questions. If you are looking for course specific tutors (i.e.: economics, science, art, etc.), visit the respective academic department for more information. All tutoring services are free of charge.
