Studies Abroad: London Summer FAQ
No, since the summer programs are only 5 weeks (less than 90 days), students will not need a visa.
Yes, students must purchase books at the UP bookstore before they leave for the program.
Summer programs are an excellent way to fulfill core University or college requirements. Students should check with their advisors to see what classes would best help them fulfill some of their needed requirements. Summer programs are also useful for filling upper-division elective credits.
Students will live in apartments in downtown London. The apartments have kitchen facilities and are near grocery stores, a bank, and a post office. Students can access their email at local internet cafes.
London is similar to Portland in that the weather encompasses a wide range: 40 degrees in rain, 80 degrees in sun.
The London Summer Business program begins on 06/25/13 to 08/01/2013 and London Nursing Summer will begin on 06/25/13 to 08/01/2013 same as London Business.
The London Summer Business and Nursing programs for 2013the cost will be $6,300.

BUS 391 Global Legal Perspectives – Dr. Lisa Reed (Director)
Prerequisites: None. This class can fulfill the BUS 250 (Law) requirement or may be used as an upper division business elective.
