Instructor, School of Nursing

Christina HennellyChristina Hennelly completed her B.S.N. at Concordia University in 2013. She is a certified pediatric nurse and has worked in both inpatient pediatrics and pediatric surgery at Providence St. Vincent. While at Providence St. Vincent, Christina helped teach the High Reliability Organization course which provided all employees with the tools necessary to make the hospital a safer place for patients. In 2018 she received a master of science in nursing leadership and management from Western Governors University. Christina’s desire to teach is rooted in her experience working as a clinical instructor at the Center for Medically Fragile Children with a group of UP students. Being able to witness the growth and transformation of the students over the course of their clinical rotations feels like a huge privilege. Just before starting at UP fulltime, Christina went on a six-month round-the-world trip, visiting fourteen countries and four continents.
