Kaleigh Barnett graduated from the University of Portland School of Nursing with a B.S.N. in 2013 and received her master of nursing in nursing education from OHSU in 2018. She has worked in medical/surgical nursing, outpatient oncology, and oncology research. Prior to coming to the University of Portland, Kaleigh worked as a clinical instructor at Nevada State College. She is a certified oncology nurse through the Oncology Nursing Society and also belongs to the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning. In addition to working full time in the Simulated Health Center at UP, Kaleigh continues to work part time (remotely) in the research department at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. In her free time, Kaleigh loves hiking, kayaking, and macramé.
