Patrick Cochran-Green

Patrick Cochran-Green joined the University of Portland fulltime in spring 2022, serving in the Simulated Health Center of the School of Nursing and Health Innovations. Before joining UP, Patrick was a standardized patient for years at multiple universities of higher education, including University of Portland, Oregon Health and Science University, and the National University of Natural Medicine. Prior to moving to Portland, Patrick was employed for nearly fifteen years with Children's Protective Services in Houston, Texas. During his time there he served as a child abuse/neglect investigator, supervisor, legal liaison with the district attorney's office, policy writer, and child safety specialist. He received his bachelor of science in criminal justice with minor fields of study in psychology and theatre from Sam Houston State University. Patrick is a professional actor as well as an avid animal lover who enjoys spending time with his family and their greyhound.
