Chatchai Khunboa teaches as an associate professor in the department of computer engineering at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Dr. Khunboa received a bachelor of electrical engineering from Khon Kaen University in 1992, his M.Sc. degree in telecommunications from University of Pittsburgh in 2000, and Ph.D. degree in information technology from George Mason University in 2005. His areas of interest are wireless sensor networks (WSN), Internet of Things (IoT) and software defined networks (SDN). He obtained funding from the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program to share his research experience and encourage students to recognize the importance of the Internet of Things in today's environment.
