Lt. Col. Ragan Cole, M.A.

Assistant Professor of Air and Space Studies, Air Force ROTC

Born and raised in Alabama, Lieutenant Colonel Ragan Cole graduated from Auburn University with a degree in criminology and earned a master’s degree in criminal justice from American Military University. Upon receiving his commission into the Air Force from the Auburn ROTC program, he began his active duty career as a finance officer. Quickly realizing that was not for him, Ragan trained to become a remotely piloted aircraft (UAV) pilot. He has deployed all over the world in support of humanitarian and combat support operations. Ragan’s experience includes formal training instruction and evaluation, operational test, and command staff. In his spare time, Ragan enjoys BBQing, spending time with his family, which is mostly supervising two bratty dachshunds, and being disappointed in his favorite sports teams.
