Christine Gallagher, M.S.N.

Christine GallagherChristine Gallagher graduated from the University of Portland with a bachelor of science in nursing in 2003. Prior to returning to the University as a faculty member, she worked in a variety of settings including labor and delivery, infection prevention, and clinical informatics. Christine graduated from Western Governors University with a master of science in nursing education in 2018. She works as a certified cardiac rehabilitation R.N. and is enrolled in the University of Portland doctor of nursing practice – family nurse practitioner (D.N.P.-F.N.P.) degree program. Throughout her career Christine has enjoyed the opportunity to serve as an educator in the clinical setting and looks forward to teaching and supporting nursing students in the academic setting. Her specific healthcare-related interests include health promotion, preventative care, and building communities to support health. Christine enjoys gardening and yoga and spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
