Cade McDonald, Katelyn Newton, and Anna Singley - UP's 2024 Goldwater Recipients

"The Goldwater Scholarship is an incredible recognition of undergraduate research achievement. I am grateful that the Goldwater Scholarship will enable me to further my career in the biomedical field. I am especially grateful for those who have supported me, especially Dr. Priya Mani and Dr. Susan Murray." - Cade McDonald

"Winning the Goldwater means that I will have two years of financial support from the foundation, but more importantly, I've gained access to an extensive web of connections and professional contacts. The draw of the Goldwater is more so the professional benefit than the money. It feels great to have years of research experience validated with this prestigious award."   - Anna Singley
