Why did you decide to enroll at UP?
I enrolled at UP because I loved the feel of campus; the warm, welcoming feel of the students and the size of campus and the classes made me confident that I would be able to make friends and be successful academically.

Best memory from living in the residence halls?
One of my best memories from living in the residence halls was handing out candy to trick-or-treaters during Halloween. Everyone on my floor had their doors open and we all got to eat candy, hang out, and get to know each other better!

Favorite UP activity?
My favorite UP activity is playing intramural sports with and against my friends!

Favorite UP event?
My favorite UP event is either Hawaii Club's annual Luau or Rock the Bluff!

Favorite meal served on campus?
My favorite meal served on campus is a sandwich and chips from the Commons or fries from the Pilot House!

Plans after UP?
After I graduate from UP, I hope to live and work here in Portland as a nurse.

Favorite Portland area destination?
My favorite Portland destination is Cathedral Park! It's so close to campus and it's a great place to have a picnic, exercise, or even take pictures.

Favorite UP professor?
I don't have a favorite UP professor, but my favorite professor duo is Professor Holly Simpson and Dr. Maren Nelson, who taught my Pathophysiology and Pharmacology classes!

Favorite UP class?
My favorite UP class was Microbiology for Nurses taught by Dr. Paula Tower.

Fun Fact
One fun fact about me is that I spent part of my summer quarantining at a senior living home. I worked for, lived with, and spent my free time hanging out with a whole house of elderly adults!

What is one piece of advice you would give yourself if you were a high school senior again?
One piece of advice I would give myself if I were a high school senior again is to appreciate your parents (especially your mom) more- I didn't realize how much I needed them until they were too far away to be bothered for every little issue or question I had!
