Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow

Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) is a campus organization with a team of over thirty student ambassadors. STAT helps students transition to post-graduate life and encourages interaction between current students and alumni. As a dynamic philanthropy and engagement center, STAT’s mission is to equip students, alumni, and the broader UP community with the tools needed to foster connections, make meaningful contributions, and thrive collectively.

At the heart of our endeavors lies the belief that by cultivating lifelong connections, driving positive change, and creating an enduring legacy, we fortify the fabric of our UP community. A thriving community is not only marked by the success of its current students but also by the support and involvement of its alumni. 

Supporting programs that facilitate connections between students and alumni is a cornerstone of building a sense of community and camaraderie among graduates. This, in turn, creates a robust and supportive alumni network, with increased alumni support contributing to a lasting impact on the university, current Pilots, and future generations.  

Beyond the academic sphere, STAT has played a pivotal role in community outreach. Through events like An Evening of Gratitude in 2023, Giving Tuesday, the International Day of Giving, and Brews on the Bluff – an event supporting UP alumni-owned businesses – we have extended our impact to the broader community. Our students worked together to provide care packages for Blanchet House residents in collaboration with the Moreau Center for Service and Justice. STAT has gladly been able to connect with families of students, both through telecommunication and at our recent First and Second-Year Family Weekend, to keep EVERYONE involved with the UP community.  

STAT is not just an organization; it is a catalyst for growth, connection, and collective success. Join us in shaping the future of the UP community by supporting programs that make a lasting impact and engaging in our Pilot Community!
