In this Beckman Humor Project event, Dr. Pembleton examines how a humble Black nun from Canton, Mississippi infused Catholicism with gospel music, influenced global leadership and cultural competence and carried out the business of life with love, strength, and energized laughter.
Deborah J. Pembleton is an Associate Professor in the Global Business Leadership Department and Director of the Asian Studies Program at the College of Saint Benedict / Saint John’s University.
