2023 Zahm Lecture - Faith, Race, & Justice: Cultivating Hope In A Broken World

Presented by Gloria Purvis, 9/19/2023

Can we oppose the evil of racism without being consumed by rage and despair? Can wonder, imagination and the love of the Divine prepare us to confront the challenges of the world? Gloria Purvis, author, commentator, host, and executive producer of The Gloria Purvis Podcast, explores these questions in the 2023 Zahm lecture.

Ms. Purvis has been a strong Catholic voice for life issues, religious liberty, and racial justice. She was most recently a part of a groundbreaking, exclusive interview with Pope Francis with a delegation from America Media. She is the Inaugural Pastoral Fellow at the McGrath Institute for Church Life at Notre Dame University and recently received an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from the University of Portland.
