Workshop Descriptions

Capture, Annotate, and Share Your Screen

Have you ever struggled to explain something - say, a problem you're having on your computer, or a cool trick you know how to do in Excel - over the phone or in a written email? Sometimes, it's much faster, easier and ultimately more effective to simply share a screenshot or short video. A picture really is worth a thousand words. In this interactive workshop we'll explore using Snagit to capture, aannotate, and share our screens.

Multimode, Multimedia Driven Discussions and Feedback

VoiceThread allows teachers and students to have voice and video conversations around digital multimedia. Add images, videos, audio files, documents or any other type of media to a “slideshow” and everyone in the class can respond using a microphone and webcam.
