About the Association of Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASACCU)

Mission

To promote an understanding of the rich Catholic intellectual tradition and its relevance for student affairs professionals who are working or will be working at Catholic colleges or universities. Through its activities and programs the Association encourages and facilitates the sharing of ideas and cooperative efforts among its members.

Overview

The purpose of the organization is to provide an opportunity for professional development, communication, and colleagueship among student affairs professionals who work at Catholic institutions.

ASACCU provides opportunities to increase one’s knowledge and understanding of student affairs practice in the context of Catholic higher education. Through the annual conference and related programming, those who attend learn best practices, discuss current trends, and connect with a network of student affairs professionals and others who work at Catholic colleges and universities.

ASACCU operates under a Constitution and is governed by a Chair of the Board and an elected Board of Directors. The Board is housed at the institution of the Chair of the Board, currently at Mount Saint Mary's University, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California.
