Crisis appointments are available for students experiencing an urgent need for timely mental health support. Crises are self-identified by the student (If you say you are in crisis, we believe you.) Topics may include:
During the crisis appointment, a UP mental health counselor will work with student to ensure safety and develop an actionable safety plan with referrals to other urgent support as needed.
If you, or someone you care about, has experienced gendered or sexual harassment or interpersonal violence, you may also want to know about Confidential Advocacy & Survivor Support. They have been trained to provide trauma-informed support and are not required to report to Title IX.
