Buckley Center Auditorium

Audience access

  • Located on the ground floor.
  • Inside the space, stairs lead down to the seating area.
  • Wheelchair accessible seating is available in the top row.
  • Restrooms in the lobby are on the ground floor and are accessible.

Stage access

  • Accessible entry to the stage is available through Buckley Center.
  • Take the elevator to the basement level, then proceed through the hallway to the stage door.
  • The nearest accessible restrooms to the stage are located down the hall, near the elevator.

Nearby accessible parking

  • Main lot closest to the Clark Library.

Bauccio Commons Dining Room

  • Located on the ground floor and accessible without stairs.
  • Chairs are not fixed and can be arranged to provide wheelchair accessible seating.
  • Accessible restrooms are located on the ground floor.

Nearby accessible parking

  • Behind the Chapel of Christ the Teacher.

Bauccio Commons Terrace Room

We make every effort to accommodate guests with mobility disabilities. Because this is an older building, some accessibility limitations remain. If you have questions or concerns about accessibility for an event in this space, please contact the event organizer.

  • Located on the lower level of Bauccio Commons; typically accessed by a staircase.
  • A pathway behind the building leads to the Terrace Room patio doors; due to the steep grade, this pathway is not accessible to wheelchair users.
  • Chairs are not fixed and can be rearranged to provide wheelchair accessible seating.
  • Restrooms in this space are not accessible. The nearest accessible restrooms are on the first floor of Bauccio Commons.

Chiles Center

  • Arena with two levels; the second level is accessible by elevator.

Seating configurations

  • With bleachers: Wheelchair accessible seating is provided in front of the bleachers.
  • Without bleachers (round tables or rows of chairs): Chairs are not fixed and can be rearranged to provide wheelchair accessible seating.
  • Accessible seating will always be available in this space, regardless of room configuration.

Restrooms

  • Accessible restrooms are located on both levels.

  • Main parking lot, closest to Merlo Field.

Brian Doyle Auditorium

Located on the lower level of Dundon-Berchtold Hall. An elevator provides access to this level.

Audience access

  • Wheelchair accessible seating is available at the back of the auditorium.

Stage access

  • Accessible stage entry is located at the front of the room.
  • A ramp leads down to the stage; to reach it, exit the auditorium and proceed down the adjacent hallway.

Restrooms

  • Accessible restrooms are located on each floor.

  • Main parking lot and Waldschmidt parking lot.

Franz 120

  • Located on the ground floor of Franz Hall.
  • Entry from the front of the building facing the Chapel of Christ the Teacher does not require stairs.
  • Chairs are not fixed and can be rearranged to provide wheelchair accessible seating.
  • Restrooms on all floors are accessible.

Mago Hunt Recital Hall & Theater

  • Building entrance is on the ground floor.

Restrooms

  • Restrooms in Mago Hunt Theater have been modified to improve accessibility but do not fully meet current accessibility standards. Many wheelchair users can utilize these facilities, but accessibility may vary.
  • The nearest fully accessible restrooms are on the first floor of Franz Hall, reachable via the quad-side entrance (note: the entrance closest to Mago Hunt provides stair access only).

Theater seating

  • Seating is accessible via a compliant ramp.
  • Wheelchair accessible seating areas are designated within the theater.

Recital Hall seating

  • Wheelchair accessible seating is available at the back of the room.
  • The stage does not have an accessible entry.
