CITI Program Human Subjects Research course
The University of Portland is a subscriber to CITI Program training courses. The Humans Subjects Research course is intended for anyone involved in research studies with human subjects. The course provides an introduction to the protection of human subjects in research and may be required by your school or department before engaging in research involving human subjects.
To access this course, first log into citiprogram.org and make sure you are affiliated with the University of Portland.
Once you have done this, click on the blue "View Courses" button next to "University of Portland."
Then, scroll down at the bottom of the page there is a link that says "Add a Course." Here, under Question 1 - Human Subjects Research - click on the correct category for yourself (faculty, students, etc.) and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit."
Now, under your courses you should have a course called "University of Portland - Students (or faculty, etc.) - Stage 1 - Basic Stage" with 14 modules to complete. This is the Human Subjects Research course.
