10/2-10/6

  • 10/4 - Cannabis Education Wellness Wednesday: Peer Health Educators will be facilitating activities surrounding healthy decision making regarding cannabis use outside the library from 11am -1pm.

10/9-10/13

  • 10/11 – DVAM Wellness Wednesday: Peer Health educators will be tabling to promote awareness of domestic violence while distributing resources, and promoting DVAM events outside the library from 11am-1pm. At this event, students can get t-shirts for the DVAM tie dye event for a $5 donation to Raphael House, a local domestic violence shelter.
  • 10/11 – Tie Dye Event: Students can bring their own shirts to dye or they can donate $5 to Raphael house for a shirt. This event will provide purple tie dye supplies so students can make something purple to wear for Wear Purple Day. This event will be from 4pm-6pm.
  • 10/13 – Green Dot Tabling: Peer Health Educators will be tabling outside the library from 11am -1pm to promote bystander intervention and to facilitate sign-ups for Green Dot Training.

10/23-10/27

  • 10/23-10/27 – Wellness Ambassador Social Wellness Programming : Wellness Ambassadors will be facilitating events surrounding Social Wellness in their residence halls this week, keep an eye out!
  • 10/25 – Wear Purple Day: Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to wear purple and share on social media. There will be a raffle for students that post and tag @wellnesscenterup on Instagram!
  • 10/25 – Wellness Wednesday SASA Week of Action Collab: Peer Health Educators will collab with SASA for an activity to promote healthy relationships. They will also have a backdrop for folks to take pictures wearing purple for the Instagram.
  • 10/25 – Espresso UP Flavors of PDX CBP Collab: Peer Health Educators will have a cannabis education table at Espresso UP.
  • 10/27 – Halloweekend event: PHE’s will facilitate an activity promoting safe use of alcohol and the importance of bystander intervention before Halloweekend.
