Organizational Tips

Look through all of your syllabi/class schedules and write down all of the due dates for final exams, papers, presentations, and remaining assignments

Consider how equipped you feel for each of your exams—are there any that you think you will need to spend additional time on? It is better to know this earlier on than be bombarded right before your test

If the thought of studying is daunting, break down your tasks into manageable pieces:

  • For exams, make a to-do list with all of the chapters or lectures you need to study, and then you can make concrete strides as you check each one off
  • For papers, make a to-do list with each element of your paper so that instead of having the abstract concept of “starting your paper” you can see what the paper is made up of (introduction, thesis, body paragraphs, conclusion, bibliography, etc.)
