These are just a few of the business ideas which will be presented by promising entrepreneurs competing in the Franz Center for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation’s annual $100K Challenge Venture Competition, at the University of Portland on Saturday, April 29.

Three students from the Department of Performing & Fine Arts (PFA) at the University of Portland were awarded national fellowships at the 49th Annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, held April 17-22 at the John F. Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts in Washington DC.


University of Portland bioethics team wins national competition

The University of Portland bioethics team won the 2017 Bioethics Bowl by defeating Georgetown University in the finals. In only the second year competing, the UP team was undefeated in the Bioethics Bowl.
