Bon Appétit launched a new app called GET that students can connect to their campus meal plan. The app allows students to preorder and remote purchase food from Pilots Pantry, which carries over 80 different grocery staples.

A New Approach to the On-Campus Housing Process

The housing process for next fall looks a little different this year. Students currently living off-campus will be given equal priority with current on-campus students in an effort to level the field for students who weren't able to live in the residence halls this year. Students should apply by March 8 to be included in the housing lottery.

University of Portland Welcomes the Class of 2023 on Move-In Day, August 22

First-year students arrive on campus and move into residence hall on Thursday, August 22 beginning at 9 a.m. Students and their family members will be greeted by returning students at all nine of the residence halls with welcome signs and decorations as they carry in suitcases, comforters, computers, and other comforts from home.

Author Colum McCann’s 2009 novel Let the Great World Spin is the 2018-2019 selection for University of Portland’s annual ReadUP campaign and Schoenfeldt Distinguished Visiting Writers series. The lecture will take place in Buckley Auditorium on February 20, at 7 p.m. and is free, and open to the public. McCann will follow the lecture with a book signing.

Sr. Sue Bruno, O.S.F., Fields Hall Director, will be formally honored as a recipient of the 2016 Spirit of Holy Cross Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Congregation upon its lay collaborators.
