Mapping Faces Photo Contest (part of International Education Week)
We are accepting entries for the annual IEW photo contest. The theme this year will be “Mapping Faces” Three chances to win first place!! Winners will be announced at International Night on Saturday, November 22rd in the Commons from 5 – 8pm. Show off your talent and join!
***Here’s how it works***
Choose a category: "Landscape", "People and Best Moments Abroad", or "Architecture".
Pictures can be taken anywhere; while abroad, at home, or even just around campus.
Include your first and last name, phone number, title of photo, and specific category in the body of your email when you submit your photo.
Email photos to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop off a print copy at International Student Services, Christie Hall 022 by November 13th at midnight.
Photos will be shared in public photo albums on the ISS Facebook page for voting during IEW. Voting will be measured in number of “likes”.
Each person can submit no more than one photo per category.
Photo must be received no later than November 13th, 2014 at midnight to be considered for the contest
Photo cannot be submitted by someone other than the photographer.
Submission must include the photographer’s name and phone number (for notification purposes only), title of photo, and contest category for submission.
Submission of your photo gives International Student Services the right to use your photo for public viewing during international week and future events. Credit will be given to photographer.
One contestant from each category will be chosen as the winner. Winner is determined by the highest number of “likes” accumulated during IEW. Each winner will receive their photo framed, a small travel gift, and their photo displayed during International Night.
