Most people have heard “networking is important” but fewer know exactly why or how to do it. The CEC wants you to know making connections and building a network is for everyone and whether you are seeking an internship or full-time job. Networking can be a great way to explore the possibilities of a particular major, a new city, or to confirm a choice you’re already leaning toward.  

Whether searching for a job or internship or exploring a potential career path, the most common form of networking is called informational interviewing and the resources below will help you get started on this powerful and effective process.
