Medical Care & Testing for COVID-19

Medical Care

If at any time you experience severe symptoms including trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion, inability to wake or stay awake, or bluish lips or face, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

On-Campus

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please begin wearing a mask around others and contact the Health Center or an off-campus healthcare provider as soon as possible at 503.943.7134.

Medical appointments for COVID-19 testing and symptomatic treatment can be made by calling the Health Center at 503.943.7134. Appointments are scheduled first come, first serve Monday through Friday during business hours.

Off-Campus

If you need treatment for illness outside of the Health Center's business hours, please see our After-Hours Primary Care site to find an off-campus clinic or start a virtual visit using Providence Express Care Virtual (instructions for accessing this telehealth service can also be found on our After-Hours Primary Care site).

Additionally, OHA is partnering with Color to offer free telehealth evaluations and medication consultations for people 18+ who test positive for COVID. If you meet criteria for antiviral medications, a clinician can prescribe the medications and have them sent to your home, or to be filled at a local pharmacy. COVID Testing

On-Campus

The Health Center offers COVID rapid antigen and PCR testing Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Please call the Health Center at 503.943.7134 to schedule an appointment. If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, the Health Center will schedule you for a general check-up as part of your COVID testing appointment. If appropriate according to your symptoms, the Health Center will also test for, diagnose, and/or treat other types of illnesses.

  • Call 211 or Multnomah County’s COVID-19 Call Center (503.988.8939) for help finding testing
  • Call you Primary Care Physician (PCP) in the Portland area. If you're having trouble finding someone in your network, or you don't have a PCP established in Portland, call the phone number on the back of your insurance card to find out which medical offices are covered by your insurance in Portland.
