Weekend on The Bluff is an opportunity for admitted students and families to experience academic and social life at University of Portland. The weekend includes opportunities to explore our academic programs, campus and residence hall tours, financial aid, and student activities in and outside of the classroom.
Pilot Welcome Receptions are held in various cities across the country and provide the perfect opportunity for first-year students and their families to meet other members of the UP family before the start of school in August.
Orientation is a special opportunity for us to welcome you into our family and assist you and your student in making the smoothest transition possible as you become members of the Pilot community. Learn more about what resources and events will be available to parents and families this year.
Family Weekend gives families the chance to visit The Bluff during the school year to immerse themselves in the UP community, meet their student’s roommates and friends, connect with University staff and faculty, participate in campus-wide activities and learn what it means to be a proud Pilot.
Commencement is a special time for our graduating seniors and their families. The weekend promises to be filled with memorable moments and opportunities to reminisce with your graduating student as they close this particular chapter of their UP experience.
