Information Services at UP

Technology is a critical element in our teaching and learning, our day-to-day business, and indeed our personal lives.  At UP's Information Services, we strive to help you use that technology effectively, efficiently, and safely.

We provide support when you run into challenges or have questions or special requests, and we also work behind the scenes every day to keep our technology reliable and secure, from your desktop computer to the classroom technology to the servers that process our business and academic data.

Information Services consists of three divisions:

  • Academic Technology Services and Innovation, which supports faculty in use of technology for teaching & learning
  • Technical Services, whose responsibilities include:providing direct tech support via our help desk, audiovisual support for classes and events, and managing the network, servers, and cybersecurity infrastructure for the university.
  • Web & Enterprise Services, which manages our enterprise applications and web resources to make sure the University's business processes and communications are running smoothly.
