Favorite place to eat in Portland: One of my top spots to eat in Portland is Enat Kitchen. The Sambusas are absolutely delicious (and you can't go wrong with the lentil or meat filling!). And my favorite part is that you can get a large platter to share with family and friends :)

Advice for prospective students: My main advice (it's going to sound cheesy), but it is to put yourself out there, and most importantly, do it in a way that works for you. Coming into college or university, you are going to have many many things thrown your way (classes, student clubs, etc.). You don't have to do everything, but trying new things is how you figure out what is for you (or not for you). And also take a deep breath, you got this!

Favorite Portland attraction or place: Powell’s Books 100%! It is a single building that takes up an entire block in downtown Portland. And it is dedicated to selling and buying books, used and new alike. They have something for everyone and I highly recommend!
