Alumni Reunion Weekend

March 2021

Dear Pilots,

At this time of year, our office is usually busy preparing to welcome the alumni family back to The Bluff for our treasured tradition of Alumni Reunion Weekend. Last spring when we cancelled Reunion 2020, we had hoped that circumstances would allow for us to host you on campus once again during the summer of 2021.

While there is promising progress in the fight against COVID-19, we believe that large gatherings of alumni from across the country will still be a high-risk activity in June. As we shared in a recent email, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Reunion 2021.

We realize that this may be extremely disappointing news, especially for those of you looking forward to a special commemorative year. Please know that we have not forgotten about you, and we look forward to recognizing the milestone reunion years (from 2020, 2021, and 2022) during an in-person celebration at Reunion 2022.

Until we can gather again on The Bluff, we hope that you will continue to connect with the Pilot community in other ways, such as those listed on our alumni website. We are inspired by how you have shown your care for one another throughout this past year, and we could not be prouder to be Pilots.

’Til we meet again,

Fr. Edwin Obermiller, C.S.C.

Interim Director of Alumni & Parent Relations

Jennifer (Swinton) Williams ’00
