Hold Policy

Payment in full for tuition, housing and food (where applicable), and any assessed fees is due on or before August 7, 2023 for fall semester, January 3, 2024 for spring semester, and May 1, 2023 for all summer sessions. When payment is not made by the due date, the following hold policies apply:

  • A student whose account is past due may be placed on a hold that restricts access to registration, grades, and diplomas.  Holds do not apply to transcripts.
  • The hold may remain on the student account until the balance is paid in full.
  • Payments made by personal or electronic check may not release the hold until two weeks after the receipt date. If a hold is released and the payment is subsequently returned unpaid, the University reserves the right to immediately cancel registration.
  • Students with account holds are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Accounts.
