University of Portland celebrates its annual International Night in support of Diversity Dialogues programming on Friday, March 22nd, beginning at 5:00 p.m., in the Bauccio Commons. The annual event is a night for the campus and greater Portland community to come together and celebrate international and cultural exchange at UP. The event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public.

Activities include the student hosted Showcase of Cultures highlighting various regions and cultures around the world. Nations and cultures represented in 2019 will include: China, Cambodia, Middle East, Native American, Mexico, Kuwait, Italy, England, Saudi Arabia, UP Mixed Race Student Union, UP Moreau Center for Service and Social Justice International Immersion experiences, and more.

The stage will host student artists Kavya Mandla and Pallavi Saharia, Pema Dema and Tashi Shalung, and professional performers Mariachi Viva Mexico, Kalabharathi School of Dance, and Trio Tsuica.

Additional activities include a music and movement workshop with Reggae Artist Aaron Nigel Smith, photobooth, henna body art, and kids art activities.  During the night, international cuisine will be served by Bon Appetit and priced a la carte.
