The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.
In our efforts to adhere to these guidelines, Office of Residence Life staff will not share certain information without submitted authorization from students.
We encourage you to have a conversation with your student regarding Parent Proxy Access. You and your student can create a Parent Proxy so that you can have access to FERPA protected information which can include educational, judicial records, student accounts, and financial aid information.
We are committed to providing support to your student. If you are concerned about the physical, emotional, academic, or health of your student, please submit a referral to our Care Team. The Care Team is a multi-disciplinary team that will assess, offer support, and provide resources.
