Getting to Your Service Site

There are multiple options for getting to your service site.

Riding Your Bike

Riding your bike is a great way to get to your service site. If you don't have a bike on campus, Recreational Services has bikes available for checkout through Beauchamp Recreational and Wellness Center.

Using Public Transportation

Portland has a very effective public transportation system by way of TriMet buses and light rail (MAX). Buses #35 and #44 come right next to campus.

For help planning your route, visit the TriMet Trip Planner or Maps & Schedules. Transit tickets and passes can be purchased through Campus Safety.

Zipcar

The University of Portland has car sharing options available. Cars can be picked up on campus or at various locations around the city.

Learn more about the UP Zipcar program and register for an account. If you have any questions regarding the program, contact Campus Safety at 503.943.7161 (x7161).

Moreau Center Vehicles

The Moreau Center has five vehicles available to check out. They are generally available only for volunteering. Approval for other use is on a case-by-case basis.

To reserve a vehicle or for questions, contact the Moreau Center at 503-943-7132 or moreaucenter@up.edu.

Be sure to have your driver form on file at Campus Safety before your trip.
