Lexi moved from her small town in Northern California to attend Azusa Pacific University in Southern California, where she went through the Global Studies and Youth Outreach and Discipleship programs. During her time at APU, she was deeply invested in her communities both on and off campus. Little did she know the support she received as a first-generation college student and her excitement for serving as a student leader throughout her Undergraduate experience would lead her to join the UP community as a Hall Director. For the few years following graduation, Lexi loved her opportunities to work with children in the foster care system, travel, and teach people with different abilities. In the summer of 2021, Lexi moved to Portland and rediscovered her love of working in higher education; where she has the privilege to meet college students where they are at and walk alongside of them as a friend and a mentor as they lean further into their passions and dreams for their lives. 

If you are looking for an adventure buddy, Lexi is always outside - seeking new sunset spots, hiking, writing, and biking. She loves to learn and is constantly adding to her list of books to read, podcasts to listen to, and new places to travel!
