Jordan Durán is the new Schoenfeldt Hall Director for the 2023-2024 school year. Prior to this, he worked for 2 years at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida as a Graduate Hall Director, while also earning his Master's in Education in College Student Affairs Administration. In his current role, Jordan works to support students by creating spaces for community and belonging, holistic and interpersonal development, and responding to crisis situations.

Jordan is an alum of the University of Portland, class of 2020. He earned his Bachelor's in Arts in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. He also spent all four years in Schoenfeldt, and he is excited to return to lead the community. During his time at UP, Jordan was heavily involved in the residence hall, including serving as a Programming Co-Coordinator for the Schoenfeldt Hall Council. He was also involved with Campus Ministry and the Encounter with Christ retreats, as well as a member of the men's club soccer team.

Jordan was born and raised in Camarillo, California, where he grew up splitting time between school and soccer. In his free time, Jordan enjoys playing all kinds of board and card games with friends, spending time with his dog, and eating delicious food.
