Alumni Outreach

As much as our students love the residence halls, they can't live there forever! Once residents graduate or simply move off campus, they're considered "alumni" of their former residence hall. Our hall communities enjoy inviting past residents back for special events at their halls. Below are some examples of how hall alumni are welcomed back to their communities.

  • Villa Reunion: Every four years, Villans return to Villa during UP's Reunion Weekend and get to stay in the hall for a great weekend of companionship.
  • Christie Alumni Open House: At this event, held in the spring, current and past Christie residents gather to share food and stories.
  • Schoenfeldt Senior Blessing: Alumni are invited to "send off" the current senior residents with a blessing.
  • Corrado Hall Banquets: Corrado alumni are invited to Corrado's winter and spring banquets; current residents donate meal points to cover alumni's meals.

The staff of each residence hall makes an effort to maintain their alumni network and reach out with invitations to hall events. Hall alumni who have moved off campus often return for the hall's weeknight Mass, and they are welcome guests at the hall's signature events!
